First release. Needs Home Assistant 2026.2 or later; the integration's icon shows from 2026.3.
Tracking
- Sleep tracking for one or both sides of a bed, from a bed pressure or presence sensor. A wearable oximeter, bed and room climate sensors, the bedroom lights, the phone screen or a radar each add more.
- Live in bed, asleep and awake states for automations, with events when you fall asleep and wake up.
- A nightly summary for each sleeper, with a 0–100 sleep score and its parts. The report appears 30 minutes after you get up.
- Heart rate and SpO2 figures from a wearable oximeter: drops of 4 % or more, drops per hour, time below 90 %.
- Sleep stages, live and per night (experimental).
- Apnea screening, opt-in and experimental: an estimated breathing-event index with a screening range and a disclaimer.
- Alerts for low SpO2, low or high heart rate, sensors that stop reporting and low batteries, as events and optionally on a phone.
- Smart wake in a window before a wake-up time or the phone's next alarm, plus a pre-wake event for a slow sunrise.
- Bed climate: thermal comfort, time too warm or too cold, sweat events, and sleep compared across room and bed temperatures.
- A shared bed: a partner's movement and getting in or out of bed don't count against your night.
Report card
- A dashboard card with the night's times, score, figures and timeline, and trends over 7 or 30 nights.
- The night's headline figures show common adult targets, and SpO2 figures their typical range.
Data
- Nights survive restarts. A stored night can be recomputed, or rebuilt from the recorder so changed settings apply to it.
import_samplesbackfills a night from a device recording. With viatom_oximeter 0.4 or later, the PO6's own recordings are imported automatically.- Optional: save the PO6's beats to a file per night, for development.
- Saved files go to
/share/sleep_tracker, or the config folder where there's no/share. tools/replay.pyreplays exported history through the same engine, to tune settings on real nights.
Languages
- English and French: setup and options screens, entities, alerts, notices and the card.
Known limits
- Detection is tuned on synthetic nights and one real night so far. Sleep stages and apnea screening haven't been checked against a reference yet.
- The ZG-210Z's built-in temperature sensor reads the air beside the bed, not the bed itself, so leave it unmapped as Bed temperature.
